The symposium will take place in the facilities of De Montfort University, in Leicester, UK.
De Montfort University is a large post-92 university with approximately 27,000 students. It started life as the Leicester School of Art in 1870, became the City of Leicester Polytechnic in 1966, then De Montfort University in 1992. The School of Pharmacy who are hosting this event, opened in 1909 and accreditation in 1930, making them one of the oldest pharmacy schools in the UK.
Today, the university is one of the most multicultural in the UK with over 50% of its students from a BAME background winning the inaugural THE award for social inclusion in 2018. Also, DMU is the only university in the world to be granted the honour of spearheading work in one of the UN’s 17 strategic development goals (SDGs), Goal 16.

Hugh Aston is found at the heart of the Campus and is home to Business and Law. The conference will take place in one of the lecture theatres here.
