More than 60 years later, Gamma Sigma Sigma continues to make an enormous impact on college campuses and cities nationwide. Gamma Sigma Sigma is incorporated as a not-for-profit organization, and our primary focus is Service, Friendship, and Equality.
The purpose of the Lone Star Alumni Chapter of Gamma Sigma Sigma National Service Sorority is to assemble alumni in the Dallas Metropolitan area in the spirit of service. Membership in this chapter shall be open to all alumni of Gamma Sigma Sigma National Service Sorority.
Our chapter is very active in the National Organization. Several of our members have served the National Organization as members of the National Board of Directors and National Committee Members. We also attend various Leadership Conferences, Alumni Conferences, and National Conventions.
Gamma Sigma Sigma has partnered with several national service organizations over the last few decades. Individual, chapter and national projects are developed to provide a concentrated level of service to the nation. Below are our current National Service Partners:

March of Dimes
National Coalition of Homeless Veterans
Lone Star Alumni’s service program varies from locally sponsored causes to individual favorites that we work with one on one.
