Global Summit Model United Nations (GSMUN) is a student-led online Model United Nations conference founded by students with a shared passion for diplomacy, debate, and global affairs.
We aim to bring young minds from different backgrounds together, to provide a platform where delegates can discuss real-world issues, collaborate on solutions, and develop skills in research, negotiation, and public speaking.
Founded by Hansikaa , Reyansh, Laksh and Mehul, GSMUN represents our belief that leadership and meaningful discussion are not limited by age. By creating this conference, we hope to foster a community where students feel empowered to share ideas, build confidence, and contribute to conversations that shape the future.
Because justice can’t wait.
At GSMUN, we believe that every voice has the power to create change. As a student-led conference, GSMUN is designed to be more than just a debate or any average MUN, it is a space where delegates can grow, challenge themselves, and connect with others who care about the world around them.
The difference?
• Thought-provoking agendas focused on issues that matter today
• A welcoming environment for both first-time and experienced delegates
• An opportunity to strengthen skills in public speaking, research, negotiation, and leadership
• A conference created by students, for students.
Whether you are stepping into your first committee or returning with experience, GSMUN is a place to share ideas, find your voice, and make an impact.
Welcome to Global Summit Model United Nations! My name is Hansikaa and I am one of the founders of GSMUN.
My MUN journey? It all started with a new school and a new concept. My sister insisted that I take MUN as my club preference. I was reluctant, because I didn't even know what it was, but I agreed.
My first MUN conference was a Harry Potter MUN, in which I didn't get my desired allocation either, but since I was passionate about Harry Potter I decided to give it my efforts.
I wasn't able to attend many MUN conferences which I had the opportunity to go to, due to distance, time, transportation, etc.
So I thought, why not make a MUN which is not only online, but isn't profit driven, builds your skillset, and is made by students for the students.
A MUN conference is all about research, debate, logic, listening, speaking, and a lot of collaboration. And what could be better than to collaborate with three of my closest friends who are also MUN-ers?
Leadership is not and should not be defined by age or experience, but by the courage to speak, the willingness to listen, and the determination to create change. GSMUN was founded on that belief. I hope this conference gives you the opportunity to learn, grow, and be inspired.
Thank you for being a part of GSMUN. I am truly grateful to welcome you to this conference, and I hope your experience here is one you will remember.

Dear Delegates,
I am Reyansh Bhatia, one of the founders of Global Summit Model United Nations.
To this day, I still clearly remember my first MUN experience; shy, nervous, and hesitant to even raise my placard. But the fact is that every experience is only as good as what you take out of it, and I trust you delegates in making the most out of your experiences here.
Many of you are knowledgeable and capable but sometimes the toughest challenge lies in speaking up. GSMUN works on building your confidence gradually. Your contributions lead to progress, no matter how small they may be.
GSMUN is the platform where you can freely express yourself, listen and learn from others and engage in insightful discussions. I hope that delegates will work together in an organized and cooperative manner to come up with practical and reasonable solutions to combat the problems being discussed.
I believe this conference will turn out to be a fun, enriching and rewarding experience for all of you.
Best Regards,
Reyansh Bhatia

Dear Delegates,
You might be expecting me to begin this letter with a story of my very first embarrassing MUN experience. Sorry to disappoint. The truth is, my first MUN experience was never as a delegate at all. Yes, I had started as the Moderator to a Harry Potter Committee, with a slight lack of confidence but with an overflow of curiosity and the excitement to try something new.
As the Founder of Global Summit MUN, my journey into the world of Model United Nations has been driven by a deep passion for diplomacy, debate, and global awareness. MUN, for me, has never just been an extracurricular activity—it is a platform that shapes perspectives, builds confidence, and empowers young individuals to engage with real-world issues.
My interest in MUN-ing grew from curiosity into commitment, helping me develop skills like public speaking, critical thinking, and negotiation. Founding Global Summit MUN was my way of creating a platform where students can experience meaningful debate, build confidence, and grow into informed global citizens. Through this initiative, I hope to inspire more young minds and contribute to a community that values dialogue, leadership, and change.
Signing off (for now)
