GSMST Model UN requires all sponsors and delegates to print, sign, and return the Code of Conduct to the check-in desk the day of GSMSTMUNC.

Position Paper Guidelines

Be sure to submit all position papers via email to anslie.spitler@gcpsk12.org before September 12th, 2025 at 11:59 PM from your school sponsor and/or president in a Google Drive folder titled with your school name.

Position papers should be titled as: "ShortCommitteeName_ShortCountryName".

Ex: "GA1_SaudiArabia"

Short Committee Names:

General Assembly 1st: GA1
General Assembly 2nd: GA2
The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization: UNESCO
Security Council: SC
Crisis Committee: CRISIS

AWARD POLICY

The following categories of awards will be given at GSMSTMUNC XI:

General Assemblies 1st:

Best Delegate (1)
Honorable Mention (1)
Commendable Position Paper (1)

Crisis, Security Council, UNESCO:

Best Delegate (1)
Honorable Mention (1)
Commendable Position Paper (1)

Our Award Policy:

We award delegates based on their best adherence to their nation's true policy instead of their individual beliefs.
Though we value speech and rhetoric talent, we value determination, effort, and participation more.
