GSMSTMUNC is held every year at the Gwinnett School of Mathematics Science and Technology. This is our 10th annual conference and we are all beyond excited to to be celebrating this great milestone. This year GSMSTMUNC X will be held on Saturday, September 30th, 2023. GSMSTMUNC is student run but would not be possible without the support from our teacher sponsors, Mrs. Spitler and Mr. Ott. Our conference is held at GSMST at 970 McElvaney Lane, Lawrenceville, GA 3004. We cannot wait to see all of you for a weekend of insightful debate!
Registration
After taking a look at our delegation matrix and payment information, fill out the Registration Form to register on a team basis. Delegations will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. If you will not be attending on behalf of your school, please see "Independent Delegate" below.
All delegates and sponsors must present a signed Code of Conduct on their arrival.
Position Papers
Be sure to submit all position papers via email to gsmst.mun@gmail.com by your school sponsor and/or president in a Google Drive folder titled with your school name.
Position papers should be titled as: "ShortCommitteeName_ShortCountryName".
Ex: "GA1_SaudiArabia"

Payment Information
Fees
Early Registration (Non-Refundable): $50 before August 19, 2023. Early registration has now ended!
Regular Registration (Non-Refundable): $75 September 16, 2023.
Delegation Costs: $20 for the first country, $10 for every additional country or crisis position
Delegate's Fee: $5 per delegate - this includes placard, name-tag, and delegate materials.
How to Pay

We will send an invoice to you via email within a week of receiving your registration (Note: emails will be sent after July 27, 2023, if you register before this date). If you do not receive an invoice, please email gsmst.mun@gmail.com.
Schools may receive a 100% refund on country and delegate fees until Friday, September 1, 2023.
After this date, no refunds will be given. The conference registration deposit is non-refundable.
Example
United High School requests two countries - Russian Federation and Yemen, as well as two crisis positions during regular registration using the registration form. Luckily, both countries are available.
Their non-refundable school registration fee is $75, because they registered after August 19th. Their delegation fee is $60, because the first country or position costs $20, and each additional country or position costs $10.
Using the delegation matrix, they know they will have, at maximum, 16 delegates: 5 from Russian Federation, 4 from Germany, 4 from Yemen, and 2 crisis positions. Their delegate cost is $80.
So, their total cost is $215. After receiving the invoice via E-Mail, they pay this amount via check to the address listed above.
Unfortunately, the entire Model UN team were invited to the White House for their incredible foreign policy talent, and so cannot make it to the conference. Thankfully, they contacted GSMSTMUN via email before September 1st, and are refunded $140, which is 100% of their delegation and delegate fee.
Pizza
While delegates are welcome to bring their own lunch, they may not leave campus during breaks. We provide pizza during the event, which can be paid for by sponsors and chaperones only, either with cash or a check made payable to GSMST. To order pizza, fill out the pizza order form, and an invoice will be sent via email shortly. Each pizza has 8 slices and costs $11.
Independent (Non-School-Associated) Delegates
If you would like to attend GSMSTMUNC, but will not be coming on behalf of your school or are home-schooled, you are still welcome! To register as an independent delegate, just send an email to gsmst.mun@gmail.com with the subject "Registration Request: Independent" and we'll give you all the information you need. Be sure to add:
Your name
What school you go to, even if they don't have a Model UN Team, or that you're homeschooled
Which delegation you request
Unfortunately, we cannot sell independent delegates pizza, but you are welcome to bring your own lunch!
All attendees, including independent delegates, must present a signed Code Of Conduct on their arrival.
