Event Placements and Testing
In order to compete with GSMST DECA this school year, you must test to earn a spot in your desired event. EVERYONE who wishes to compete must participate in testing, including former ICDC participants and former DECA members.
Before completing the form, please take a look at all the competitive events and their requirements. You can find the guidelines and sample events for every competition you are interested in.
Choosing your events:
You will first choose to compete in a written (aka prepared) event OR a roleplay event. You will not be able to switch events after the form submission deadline.
If you would like to compete with a partner/team, you will indicate that on the form.
Roleplay Events: Choose up to 2 cluster exams. For each cluster, rank up to 3 events.
Written Events: Select your top 5 events.
Testing will take place across three sessions. Please indicate on the form which session you plan to attend.
