Travel information
Venue
All the activities will be held at the Freie Universität Berlin.
The main lectures, talks and software demonstrations will be held in Arnimallee 3 Room 001 (see first map).
The poster session will be held in the foyer of the Seminarzentrum (see second map).
Lunch will be provided at the Mensa FU II (see third map).
How to reach us
We highly encourage all participants to consider environmentally-friendly alternatives (e.g. trains instead of flights) for their means of transportation, when cost and time are comparable.
By train
The most convenient big train station at which most participants are likely to arrive is Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Berlin Main Station).
By bus
If you arrive to Berlin by bus, your bus will most likely stop at Südkreuz. From there you can reach Berlin Main Station by S-Bahn.
By plane
BER is usually the most convenient airport. From there, there is a direct connection to Berlin Main Station via either S-Bahn or Regional trains (all included in the transport ticket for zones ABC within Berlin for the price of 4.00€).
Accommodation
Participants who received accomodation will be staying in double rooms at the aletto Hotel Potsdamer Platz (see map).
The hotel is conveniently located close to a U-Bahn (train) station called Gleisdreieck. To reach the venue you can take the line U3 and stop at U-Bhf Dahlem-Dorf.
We kindly ask all other participants to arrange their own accomodation.
