The GSIS Student Association (GSA) is a dedicated team of around 20 members committed to enhancing the student experience at Yonsei GSIS. Led by 4 executive officers—President, Vice Presidents of Finance, Internal Affairs, and Public Affairs—we are supported by managers and committee across five committees: Merch, Academic, MT/Gala, Social, and Inter-GSIS. We also count 2 special representatives, to ensure proper inclusion of the GCC and GCSD communities. Together, we aim to create a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive environment for all GSIS students.

We bring a diverse range of experiences to the table, from organizing key events like MT and the Campus Tour to managing academic resources and fostering inter-GSIS connections. Whether it is supporting incoming students, planning meaningful events, or ensuring transparency in our operations, the GSA is here to make GSIS not just a place to study, but a community where everyone feels they belong.

This semester, our main focus is ensuring transparency and accessibility. By transparency we mean keeping students informed about how GSA operates, from sharing financial reports to updating students on board decisions. To us, accessibility is about providing resources and opportunities that make student life easier. We have already created and updated many guidebooks, such as course application guide, thesis guidelines, student discount guide, and clubs on main campus, to help students navigate their GSIS journey with ease.

We also believe in fostering an inclusive and connected community. While keeping essential events like the MT and the Speed Friend Making, we plan to diversify social activities with movie nights, game nights, and an exciting new e-sports competition. These initiatives are designed to reflect the interests of our student body and ensure everyone feels represented.

Another goal of ours, is to encourage more students to participate in extracurricular activities and make the most of their GSIS experience. Through new initiatives like a buddy program with other GSIS schools, future collaborations with GSIS clubs and organization from Yonsei main campus, we aim to inspire involvement, collaboration, and a sense of belonging within the broader GSIS community.
