The workshop "Groups and Stable Homotopy Theory" will take place at the University of Aberdeen, starting on the morning of Wednesday the 26th of August 2026, and finishing at noon on Friday the 28th of August 2026. It is dedicated to the recent developments which connect geometric group theory and stable homotopy theory. The workshop is the concluding event of the EPSRC grant Classifying spaces, proper actions and stable homotopy theory.
All talks will take place at the old Aberdeen campus, in the Fraser Noble building, room FN2.
