Troop 669 is a multi-level, group of girls and young women, Kindergarten through 12th grade, in San Joaquin County.
We are a large troop that splits into groups based on age to complete badge work and journey activities.
The girls also have many opportunities working and playing together as a whole multi-aged troop outside of regular level meetings.
Our scouts love getting outside and exploring, doing arts and crafts, camping and walking, creating floats for parades and most of all, making new friends!
THE WORLD NEEDS MORE PURPLE!
Girl Scouts promotes Purple People. Purple people ask questions, use their voice, help other people, work really hard, and strive to make the world a better place.
As a Purple Troop, we embrace the differences in each other. We wear different clothes, speak different languages, follow different religions, have different beliefs, and sing different songs. Yet we all belong to the same human race. We all have a spark inside waiting to be shared with the world.
Our multi-level troop is able to operate because of parents, like you, who volunteer their time in a variety of ways as troop helpers, activity managers, co-leaders, and meeting assistants in the troop.
Annual Membership to Girl Scouts USA is $25. There are financial scholarships available to families in need of assistance. Girl Scouts Heart of Central California does not charge a local council fee. Troop 669 does not charge membership dues. The troop encourages girls and their families to participate in fundraising efforts to keep costs low allowing all girls access to fun adventures.
