Frequently Asked Questions: 

• Can I record my presentation? 

  • • Yes, but you will have to do it yourself. We do not offer this option. 

• Can I switch delivery modes of my presentation if the event arises? 

  • • That is possible but, please, contact us at gsea@mnsu.edu to see what we can do. 

• What do I do if I am unable to attend the conference (due to sickness or other reasons)? 

  • • Contact us at gsea@mnsu.edu as soon as possible to see what we can do. 

• Do I have to pay to present or attend the conference? 

  • • NO. Drinks and lunch is also free. 

• Does my presentation topic HAVE to be on the conference theme? 

  • • No, it does not! You can look for possible topics in 'General Info'.

• Can undergraduate students participate? 

  • • Yes! Reach out to us at gsea@mnsu.edu 

• What is the environment of the conference? 

  • • Very friendly and welcoming. While this is a professional event, your fellow peers are there to support and learn from you!

• Do I have to stay all day? 

  • • No, come and go as you are able. But there will be a raffle with prizes closer to the end.

• Do I have to bring any technology? 

  • • NO, but please coordinate with your assigned moderator to email your presentation beforehand. We will have computers available for you.

• What are the prizes and how can I win one? 

  • • We do a raffle where everybody’s name is put into a bowl and we will draw names for the prizes at the end of the conference. You just have to be present to win your prize!  

• Do I get anything for participating? 

  • • Yes, all participants recevie a digital certificate. 

• Can I bring friends or family? 

  • • Yes, but please have each person fill out the registration form.
