Part 1: Theory

Getting Ready: The concepts, the 'big' ideas --> looking at the latest peer reviewed research. Situating educational leadership in a COVID-19 world.

Objectives/Goals

Introduce the process of examining leadership through multiple lenses of personal experience, history, social identity, and other elements of context.
Identify and understand the leadership assumptions and considerations found in participants' personal leadership experiences.
Develop presentation, knowledge synthesis, and critical thinking skills.
Have fun !

Getting Ready: The Evolving Nature of Leadership

For classes 4 to 9 we will be using a 'flipped' classroom model for the classroom presentations.

Leadership through different 'lens' lens will be examined; the applications, the 'scafolding' --> specific exercises & in class activities to ensure that deep learning takes place.
