About Us

The Gender and Sexual Diversity Special Interest Council (GSDSIC) is dedicated to advocating for and supporting members of our association, or stakeholders within our educational community, who may be systemically marginalized based, on sex, gender identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation. Recognizing that professionals, like our students, can face disciminatory or prejudicial treatment because of their identify, it is our intention to give voice on issues facing Queer educators in our province.
