GS Ballistic Suite ("the App") is designed to assist shooters, hunters, competitive marksmen, and reloaders with ballistic calculations, load development, session logging, environmental data collection, and related shooting activities.
This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and the choices available to users.
By using GS Ballistic Suite, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
The App may store information entered by the user, including:
Rifle information
Caliber information
Ballistic data
Load development records
Shooting session records
Venue information
Notes and comments
Photos attached to records
Voice notes attached to records
User profile information (if entered)
This information is stored solely for the operation of the App.
The App may connect to supported Bluetooth weather meters and environmental devices, including but not limited to:
Kestrel LiNK devices
Calypso devices
Skywatch devices
Other supported weather meters
Environmental data may include:
Wind speed
Wind direction
Temperature
Relative humidity
Pressure
Density altitude
Other weather-related measurements
This information is used only to provide ballistic and environmental calculations.
The App does not transmit weather meter data to external servers.
The App may use the device camera and photo library to:
Capture rifle photographs
Capture license photographs
Capture target photographs
Capture session photographs
Store photographs in the integrated Vault
Photos remain stored locally on the user's device unless the user explicitly exports or shares them.
The App may request microphone access for:
Recording voice notes
Attaching voice notes to shooting records
Audio recordings remain stored locally on the device unless the user explicitly exports or shares them.
The App stores data locally on the user's device.
Users may create:
Backup files
Export files
Shareable data files
These actions occur only when initiated by the user.
The App does not automatically upload user data to cloud servers.
The App may use internet access for:
App functionality
License verification
Product purchases
Future software updates
Accessing online resources or documentation
The App does not sell user data.
GS Ballistic Suite may offer optional paid features through Google Play Billing.
Examples include:
Ballistic Solver module
Sessions module
Load Development module
Full Suite unlock
Purchase processing is handled by Google Play.
The App does not collect or store payment card information.
The App does not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
Data is shared only when:
The user chooses to export data
The user chooses to share files
Required by applicable law
Reasonable measures are taken to protect information stored by the App.
However, no system can guarantee absolute security.
Users are encouraged to maintain secure backups of important records.
GS Ballistic Suite is not intended for children under the age of 18.
The App does not knowingly collect information from children.
Users may:
Modify their data
Delete their data
Export their data
Remove backups
Uninstall the App at any time
Uninstalling the App may remove locally stored data unless backups have been created.
