About GSA Theatre

The GSA Middle school theatre program is currently in its third year of productions. Under the direction of Miss Moffit and Mrs. Mirgaux, the program has thrived with the guidance of the Muny theatre’s education department.

Students who participate in theatre collaborate with their peers and fellow cast members and learn several valuable skills for performing in front of an audience, including experiencing the audition/callback process, acting/staging, choreography, memorization, and characterization. These skills often connect with the curriculum here at GSA in subjects like math, science, and language arts, allowing our cast to build their problem solving and critical thinking skills. Not only that, but it’s a GREAT way to get involved in the school community and make new friends!
