Lets help Pets in Need!

We're Girl Scout Troop 4807 and for our take action community service project we are trying to help pets at the Humane Society and pet owners who need supplies. Will you help us by donating supplies?

Meet Troop 4807!

The Humane Society and the Community Pet Pantry.

In this project we are helping the pets at the Humane Society and pet owners who can't afford supplies for their animals. The main thing we are doing is donating to The Humane Society's community pet pantry. The Humane Society takes care of about 50,000 pets not including the 11-13,000 wildlife animals that they help. They keep getting more and more animals at their shelters. Sometimes people can no longer take care of their pets and give them to the Humane Society. in fact, most of the animals are there because their owner couldn't take care of them anymore. There are many ways this can happen. For example, if someone's becomes homeless and can't take care of their pet anymore or if someone doesn't have enough money. That's when the Community Pet Pantry comes in to help. The Pet Pantry is part of the Community Support Services department which has the main goal of keeping owners with their pets. The Pantry provides toys, food, medicine and more, Free of all charges and questions . The covid 19 pandemic affected people with pets because many people lost their jobs and couldn't take care of their furry friends. The pantry helped them by giving the items they needed. Now so many people are going to the pantry and the pantry needs supplies. We, girl scout troop 4807 are donating supplies to the pet pantry. Will you help us by donating supplies our money to us so we can donate to the Community Pet Pantry?
