About the Halloween Hike

Welcome to the Historical Collection's of Grundy County's annual Halloween Hike, an educational and entertaining journey through the beautiful Grundy County Conservation. This family-friendly event offers a unique opportunity to explore the natural wonders of our area while enjoying a fun and festive atmosphere.

Originally held years ago, this beloved tradition is now being brought back to life, much to the delight of our community. Every year, we select a new and exciting theme to keep the experience fresh and engaging for all our visitors. Participants are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costumes, adding to the festive spirit of the hike.

After the hike, join us for a complimentary meal provided by the Grundy County Historical Collections. It's our way of saying thank you for your support and participation. While the event is free to attend, we gladly accept free-will donations to help us continue this cherished tradition.

Come out, have fun, and make lasting memories with your family and friends. We can't wait to see you there!
