GRTech ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how QR & Barcode Toolkit ("the App") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the App.
The App provides QR code scanning, barcode scanning, QR code generation, scan history, code customization, sharing, export, printing, and other supported features.

The information processed depends on the features you use, your device, and the configuration of third-party services integrated into the App.
The App requests camera access to scan QR codes and supported barcodes.
The camera is used for scanning when you activate the relevant feature. The App processes codes to display their encoded content.
Scanned information may include website addresses, text, contact details, Wi-Fi information, payment-related information, or other content encoded in a supported QR code or barcode.
The App is designed to process scanning information on your device. Do not scan or share sensitive information unless you understand what the code contains and where its contents may be sent when you choose to use another feature.
Depending on the features you use, the App may store information on your device, including:
Scan history and decoded results.
QR codes and barcodes created in the App.
Names, notes, or favorites associated with saved items, where supported.
App preferences and theme settings.
Other information needed to operate your selected features.
This information may remain on your device until you delete it, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App. Uninstalling the App may remove locally stored information.
The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how users interact with the App and to help improve its features and usability.
Depending on the SDK configuration and your use of the App, Firebase Analytics may process information such as:
App launches, sessions, screen views, and app interaction events.
App-instance identifiers and other technical identifiers.
Device, operating system, app version, and general technical information.
Approximate location information derived from network information.
Advertising identifiers, where enabled and permitted.
App events related to purchases or other interactions, depending on configuration.
We use analytics information to understand feature usage, measure app engagement, identify usage patterns, and improve the App.
Firebase Analytics is provided by Google. Information processed by the service may be transmitted to and processed on Google's systems under Google's applicable terms and privacy practices.
We do not intend to use analytics to collect the actual contents of QR codes, barcodes, or your saved history. Ensure that any custom analytics events and parameters implemented in the App do not transmit such contents or other sensitive information.
The App uses Firebase Crashlytics to identify crashes, diagnose technical issues, and improve app stability.
Depending on the SDK configuration and the incident, Crashlytics may process:
Crash reports and exception information.
Stack traces and diagnostic information.
App version and package information.
Device model, operating system version, and technical details.
Crash timestamps and app-state information.
Firebase installation identifiers and other diagnostic identifiers.
This information helps us investigate crashes, identify bugs, and improve the reliability of future releases.
Crash reports may contain technical information about the circumstances of an error. We do not intentionally include passwords, payment credentials, QR code contents, or other sensitive user content in crash reports.
Crashlytics is provided by Google and processes diagnostic information according to its applicable terms and privacy practices.
The App may display advertisements through Google AdMob or other advertising services integrated into the released version.
Advertising providers may process information such as advertising identifiers, device information, app interactions, diagnostic data, and information needed to deliver or measure advertisements. The exact information depends on the SDK, consent settings, and applicable advertising configuration.
Advertising may be personalized or non-personalized, depending on applicable settings and requirements.
Where required, the App will provide appropriate consent choices before using data for activities that require consent.
The App may offer an optional one-time Premium purchase through Google Play.
Purchase processing is handled through Google Play's billing system. We may receive purchase status and product information needed to unlock or restore Premium features.
We do not receive or store your complete payment card details through the App. Payment information is handled by Google Play under its own terms and privacy practices.
If backup and restore features are available and you choose to use them, the selected data may be written to or retrieved from the destination you choose.
The information involved depends on the implementation and destination. If you export a backup to your device or another service, you are responsible for protecting the resulting file and choosing a trustworthy destination.
Do not assume that backup files are encrypted unless the App explicitly provides and documents encryption for that feature.
The App may let you open links from scanned codes or search the web for product information when you explicitly choose that action.
If you open a website or use an external search service, the destination service may receive information such as your IP address, browser or device details, and the requested URL.
The App may perform on-device checks of URLs to help identify potentially suspicious links. These checks do not guarantee that a link is safe.
Information processed by the App and its integrated services may be used to:
Provide scanning and QR code generation features.
Save and manage your history and preferences.
Process and restore eligible Premium purchases.
Understand how users use the App.
Diagnose crashes, errors, and performance issues.
Improve reliability, usability, and functionality.

We do not sell your personal information as a standalone data product.
Information may be processed or shared in the following circumstances:
Google Firebase: Analytics and crash diagnostics.
Advertising providers: Ad delivery, measurement, and related services.
Google Play: Purchase processing and Premium entitlement verification.
External websites and services: When you choose to open a link, perform an external search, share information, or use another external feature.
Backup destinations: When you choose to export or back up information.

Third-party services process information under their applicable terms and privacy policies. Their data handling may change as their services and configurations change.
Locally stored codes, scan results, and history may remain on your device until you delete them or remove the App.
Analytics and diagnostic information may be retained by the relevant service for periods determined by the service's settings, retention policies, and applicable requirements.
Purchase records may be retained by Google Play or as required for transaction and entitlement management.
We do not control all retention periods used by third-party service providers.
We take reasonable steps to protect information processed through the App. Google Firebase documents security measures for its services, including encryption in transit for covered data.
However, no application, device, network, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Keep your device protected, avoid sharing sensitive QR codes publicly, and do not open unfamiliar links or enter confidential information on untrusted websites.
Depending on the features available in your version, the App may request:
Camera: To scan QR codes and supported barcodes.
Photos or file access: To scan images, save codes, or import and export files, where supported.
Notifications or other permissions: If required for a particular feature in your version.
Permissions are used for their stated purposes. You can manage available permissions through your device settings, although denying a permission may prevent the related feature from working.
The App is not specifically designed to collect personal information from children.
We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information directly. Third-party analytics and advertising services may process technical information as described in this Policy.

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of QR & Barcode Toolkit ("the App"), developed and provided by GRTech.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, discontinue use of the App.
You may use the App for lawful personal or business purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
You agree not to:
Use the App to facilitate fraud, phishing, scams, or other unlawful activity.
Create or distribute codes intended to deceive, harm, or exploit others.
Attempt to interfere with the App, its security, or its operation.
Reverse engineer or misuse the App except where applicable law permits.
Use the App in a way that infringes another person's rights or violates applicable law.
The App reads supported QR codes and barcode formats. Results depend on the code's format, quality, content, and the device being used.
We do not guarantee that every code will be readable, that every encoded result will be accurate, or that all formats will be supported on every device or App version.
You are responsible for reviewing scan results before acting on them.
QR codes may contain malicious links, misleading information, or links to unsafe downloads.
The App may provide URL checks and show scan results before you choose an action. These features cannot detect every threat or guarantee that a destination is trustworthy.
You are responsible for checking URLs and deciding whether to open external links, download files, install applications, or provide information to third parties.
GRTech is not responsible for the content, security, availability, or practices of external websites that you choose to visit, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
The App allows you to create QR codes and other supported codes from information you provide.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you encode is accurate and that you have the right to use and distribute it.
Do not generate or distribute codes for unlawful activity, impersonation, unauthorized access, fraud, or infringement of third-party rights.
You should test generated codes before printing or sharing them, particularly if they contain payment information, website links, or other important details.
Where supported, the App may create or scan UPI QR codes or other payment-related codes.
The App is a code utility, not a bank, payment processor, or guarantee of a successful transaction. Creating or scanning a code does not confirm that a payment has been made or received.
Always verify the recipient, payment amount, and other details in your payment application before authorizing a transaction.
GRTech is not responsible for payments sent to an incorrect recipient or for losses resulting from fraudulent payment requests, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
The App may store codes, history, and preferences on your device. You are responsible for managing this information and maintaining copies of anything important.
Where export or backup features are available, you are responsible for protecting exported files and choosing an appropriate destination.
We do not guarantee that local data can always be recovered after uninstalling the App, clearing its data, changing devices, or experiencing device failure.
The App may display advertisements and use third-party services, including Google Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, advertising providers, and Google Play Billing.
These services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue a third-party integration when reasonably necessary for technical, legal, security, or business reasons.
The App may offer an optional one-time Premium purchase through Google Play.
Premium benefits may include an ad-free experience, additional QR styles, themes, and backup or restore features, as described in the App at the time of purchase.
Premium is a one-time purchase, not a recurring subscription, unless the purchase screen expressly states otherwise.
Purchases, refunds, cancellations where applicable, and payment processing are subject to Google Play's terms and applicable consumer law. Restore-purchase functionality depends on a valid eligible purchase and the availability of the relevant feature.
We do not promise that every Premium feature will remain unchanged indefinitely, but any changes will be handled subject to applicable law and relevant purchase terms.
The App's name, branding, design, software, and original materials are owned by GRTech or its respective licensors, unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, redistribute, modify, or commercially exploit protected parts of the App without authorization, except where applicable law permits.
You retain responsibility for the content you encode into QR codes and barcodes. You must have the necessary rights or permissions to use that content.
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features to improve the App, address security issues, maintain compatibility, or comply with legal requirements.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, compatibility with every device, or permanent availability of every feature.
You should install updates provided through official distribution channels where appropriate.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided on an "as available" basis without guarantees that it will meet every user's requirements, operate without interruption, or detect all unsafe links.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, right, or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, GRTech will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the App, including losses caused by external websites, inaccurate code contents, payment mistakes, device failure, or loss of locally stored data.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence where such exclusion is prohibited, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
We may restrict or discontinue access to certain features where reasonably necessary for security, misuse prevention, legal compliance, or operation of the App, subject to applicable law and any relevant purchase obligations.
We may update these Terms when the App or applicable requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated effective date where appropriate.
Continued use of the App after an update takes effect may constitute acceptance where permitted by applicable law. Where affirmative acceptance is legally required, we will seek it.
These Terms are intended to be interpreted in accordance with the laws of India, subject to mandatory consumer protections and other applicable legal requirements.
Any dispute will be handled by a competent court or authority with jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing in this section removes rights that cannot legally be waived.
