For more than 30 years, Link Up—a program of Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute—has paired orchestras with students to explore orchestral repertoire and fundamental musical skills, including creative work and composition, through an experiential curriculum. Link Up culminates in a concert where students sing, play recorder or violin, and participate with the orchestra from their seats.

The program provides a FREE, high-quality curriculum that teachers implement, along with classroom materials, video and audio resources, and the professional development and support necessary to make it a successful experience for everyone involved. Carnegie Hall's Teacher Guide includes different learning paths teachers can choose for their students, depending on their classroom curriculum and desired level and time for preparation. This program is open to students in grades 3-5.
