Throughout our design and garment remaking process we have learned many techniques, such as sewing, trimming, hemming and so on. This is a very interesting experience that is new to all of us. Although it is not as difficult as making clothes, we are all remaking clothes for the first time and many things are unfamiliar to us. So we need some time to adapt it.
It is difficult at first but we can fully understand and take this opportunity to enjoy the experience.
At first, we made a lot of mistakes, and these are a part of the learning process. Such as the reflective fabric is too stretchy and make it difficult to sew. We sewed it repeatedly on the clothes but without success. Finally, we use hot glue to paste the reflective fabric on it to present the effect we want. After that, we also learned that some things that cannot translate well from sketches to products, and we need to think another way to show our design. In the end, we successfully completed the project within the time limit and are satisfied with the result.
