My primary research relates to the Semantic Web and Ontology Development. In my PhD thesis I have represented a ontology into an Rules Framework by using Java and Jena APIs. My current research areas are:

Developing a Military Resource Ontology for Intelligent Decision Support System with ontological framework to support military commanders in taking the best decisions in emergencies by providing them enhanced resource management assistance and situation awareness in real time.
I have published the whole work in two scopus indexed journal. In first paper I have presented the Military Resource Ontology (MRO) in IGI Global Journal and in second paper I have published the evaluation of Military Resource Ontology in Taylor and Francis Journal.

Project without Grant
I also designed a Smart Health care Ontology and published it on Linked Data. In this Ontology RFID, Actuators and Sensors are kept for the interacting with actors (Doctors, Patients, Nurses and other staff) remotely. This Ontology can be managed by the devices and expresses the definitions of framed concepts and restrictions on possible interpretations among these terms to build a structure on the domain and how these concepts are connected to each other. The ontology applies the reasoning power to diagnose the knowledge base correctness, uniformity of assertions and data individuals using rules. This process extracts implicit facts from the available knowledge and can be categorized into rule-based reasoning, logic-based context reasoning or inductive or deductive reasoning.
The development of Smart Health Care Ontology has been published in a SCIE indexed Journal (Journal of Web Engineering) and the publication of this Ontology with Bioportal on Linked data is under evaluation in another SCI Journal.
