Phase 1: Preparing for the journey Before we meet in person, you’ll:
Reflect on your current learning habits and challenges.
Explore key concepts in growth mindset and self-directed learning through curated resources.
Join a virtual Kick-off session (1h) to align on goals, expectations, and get a shared understanding of mobility.

YOUTH WORKER'S PROFILE
Are you a passionate youth worker, educator, trainer, or active volunteer eager to develop your learning mindset and bring innovative strategies to your work with young people? Then this training is for you!
👤 Age:
18 years old+ (no upper age limit)
👤 Experience:
previous experience in youth field, non-formal education, Erasmus+ Programme is required (recommended minimum 2-3 years experience)
to be active in their sending organisation (staff, volunteer, employer)

🏨 Facilities:
Participants will stay in double rooms in a private student campus. Each room has its own bathroom, a small fridge, a microwave.
In the same building you have a special room where you can make a tea in the evening and play some board games.
In front of the building there’s a mini-park where you can stay until late. The space has security and the access is limited only to residents.
A self-service laundry and drying room is available on campus for your convenience. The cost is approximately 4-5 euros per use.
Smoking is forbidden in the rooms and in the common spaces inside the buildings. Smokers can use for smoking the balconies, the terraces, and the spaces outside the buildings.
To ensure a comfortable experience, we recommend packing the following personal items: toiletries and cosmetics, flip-flops.
Participants will enjoy three meals a day - breakfast, lunch, and dinner - as well as two daily coffee breaks, so you'll have plenty of opportunities to recharge and connect with other participants. All dietary preferences and restrictions, including vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, lactose-free, and gluten-free options, will be accommodated.

💸 The maximal international transportation costs that can be reimbursed is up to:
🇧🇬 Bulgaria - 285 EUR using green transportation such as car sharing, bus, train (distance band 100 - 499 km)
🇬🇷 Greece - 309 EUR (distance band 500 - 1999 km)
🇱🇹 Lithuania - 309 EUR (distance band 500 - 1999 km)
🇨🇿 Czech Republic - 309 EUR (distance band 500 - 1999 km)
🇵🇱 Poland - 309 EUR (distance band 500 - 1999 km)
🇪🇸 Spain - 395 EUR (distance band 2000 - 2999 km)
IMPORTANT: Please take great care of your travel documents (tickets, Boarding passes and invoices and fuel receipts in original if you come by car)! We will collect all the physical documents you have during the mobility and fill in together a Reimbursement Form.
IMPORTANT: For participants traveling by green transportation, all subsistence costs - including meals and accommodation en route - will be covered.
TRANSPORTATION FROM AIRPORT TO THE ACCOMMODATION
🚍Step 1: Take Express Bus Line #100 from Henri Coanda Bucharest Airport (OTP) to Piața Unirii 2 (Unirii Square):
The bus departs from bus station located directly outside the arrivals terminal. The 100 bus operates 24/7. Every 15 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes during night. The bus ride to Unirii Square takes approximately 40–60 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. The program of the bus can be found at the airport station and online. 🚍Step 2: Take Bus no. 123 from Piața Unirii 2 (Unirii Square) to Arcca Vitan Village (the venue):
From Piața Unirii 2 station take the bus no. 123 in the direction CET Vitan. You will go down at Energeticienilor station and afterwards walk 3 more minutes to get to the venu: return 50 m, cross the street and continue 100 m more in the opposite direction of the bus.
Best option! You can buy your ticket from the machine located in the bus station using both cash and card. The cost of one trip is 3 RON (0.60 EUR). This price is the same regardless of how many stations you travel.
You can pay for the trip directly in the bus contactless by using Mastercard or Visa.
IMPORTANT: However you choose to pay for your trip, please make sure to buy your ticket because there are high chances for a control❗️
IMPORTANT: We do not cover taxi or private car (such as Uber or Bolt). Also, please keep in mind that we strongly recommend you to avoid cabs from airport.
IMPORTANT: For those who want to explore Bucharest or any other parts of Romania, please consider coming 2 days before the mobility or staying 2 days longer after, on your own expenses.

YOUTHPASS CERTIFICATE
All youth workers attending the training coruse are entitled to receive an international certificate that validates the collection of key-competencies, knowledge and attitudes acquired or improved during the mobility. The Youthpass certificate can be used during the learning process as a self-reflection tool where you explore the following 8 Key competencies:
