The Manna Church Growth Track is designed to facilitate your growth as a healthy, effective follower of Jesus Christ. Wherever you are in your journey, the Growth Track can equip you to experience more fully your calling in God and your part in impacting your world.
Growth Track is a series of small groups that each last 4 or 8 weeks:
FirstStep (4 weeks): Manna's 3 Values, 6 Applications, and the 9 Healthy Habits for a vibrant relationship with God and for discipling others
NextStep (4 weeks): the Manna mission to advance the kingdom of God
LeaderStep (8 weeks): Manna's 12 operational principles + biblical keys to everyday leadership
Growth Track is for everyone at Manna Church! Whether you have been here for one week or ten years, the Growth Track is for you.
Kids sixth grade and up are also welcome to participate.
Membership is not required to join a Growth Track group.
Start with FirstStep and continue on with NextStep. During your NextStep group, you can talk with your leader to see if LeaderStep if the best next step for you.
If you’ve previously completed a step in the Growth Track but there’s been a gap of time before continuing to the next step (e.g., NextStep, LeaderStep), simply let us know which step you’ve already completed and what you’d like to do next in the signup form.
You can signup to join an upcoming group here.
Before each week, you'll watch the video for that week's content.
Digital notes are available for you to follow along with during the group time.
You can use your phone or another device to access.
The videos and the digital notes can be found here.
You can find each week's notes and videos in the menu bar at the top of the page for quick access.
These are small groups not classes. While there is content to go over, group discussion is a central feature of each meeting.
If you miss a week, communicate with your leader and coordinate a time to make up what you miss.
If you miss a week, communicate with your leader and coordinate a time to make up what you miss.
Official Completion Policy:
FirstStep and NextStep: attend at least 3 of the 4 group meetings (make up a missed meeting by talking 1:1 with your leader)
LeaderStep: attend at least 7 of the 8 sessions (make up a missed meeting by talking 1:1 with your leader)
The way we do Growth Track at Manna is through a 4-week* small group experience where members actively participate each week. It's part content, part group interaction.
While we happily share the videos and notes about the Growth Track content, those don't count as "doing Growth Track."
As we say at Manna, life change happens in a small group (one of the principles in LeaderStep), and we proudly embody this value in Growth Track. We embrace God's design that growth is not a solo project.

*FirstStep and NextStep are 4 weeks each; LeaderStep is 8 weeks
If you have kids, you can check them into Manna Kids at sites offering Growth Track during service times. If you’re attending a service before or after your Growth Track group, you’re welcome to check them in again.
For sites that hold Growth Track outside of regular service times, please check with your site leadership for specific childcare details.
Kids in sixth grade or up are welcome to join you. Like the rest of the group, they’ll participate in discussions and watch the videos in advance.
If you have completed the Growth Track at another Manna Church, it is not required to retake the Growth Track. Let us know and we'll sync with your previous Manna site to update our records.
However, we highly encourage all members of Manna Church to regularly go back and do the Growth Track again. This deepens and refreshes the principles found in the Growth Track.
Requirements for leading a small group at Manna:
Completion of NextStep
Completion of the Manna membership application process
Completion of LeaderStep (requires completion of previous two items before starting)
Approval of site leadership
You don't need to be a member to do FirstStep or NextStep, but you do need to be a member in order to start LeaderStep.
Our best small group leaders are people who can intentionally help others live out our 3 values and our 9 healthy habits (FirstStep), embrace our Manna mission to advance the kingdom of God (NextStep), and influence others with our culture and values (LeaderStep).
