GrowTalk is a language growth social community. We collect and use information only as needed to provide language exchange, messaging, growth posting, safety, account, and app improvement features.

We may collect information you provide directly, including your name or nickname, email address, Apple sign-in information, profile photo, bio, location text, language offers and wants, growth posts, photos you upload, chat messages, reports, blocked users, membership status, and account settings.

2. How We Use Information
We use your information to create and manage your account, display your profile, help users find language partners, send and receive messages, publish growth updates, track daily goals, show growth stats, maintain safety, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and improve GrowTalk.
We may also use information to personalize the app experience, recommend users or content, detect spam or harmful behavior, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Public and Shared Information
Some information is visible to other users, such as your profile details, avatar, language preferences, public growth posts, public activity, and community interactions.
Private messages are used to provide chat functionality and maintain safety. They are not public, but they may be processed, stored, or reviewed when necessary for service operation, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or user protection.

4. Photos and Uploaded Content
If you upload photos or other content, we store and process that content so it can be displayed in the app. You are responsible for ensuring that uploaded content is lawful, appropriate, and does not violate another person’s rights.

We do not sell your personal information.
We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate GrowTalk, such as hosting, storage, analytics, authentication, payment processing, moderation, and technical infrastructure providers. These providers may only use the information as needed to provide services to GrowTalk.

You may update your profile information in the app. You may also block users, manage certain settings, or request account deletion through available app features.
If you sign in with Apple, Apple may provide relay email or account identifiers according to Apple’s privacy settings.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
GrowTalk is not intended for children under the minimum age required by applicable law. Users who are not old enough to use the service should not create an account or use GrowTalk.

GrowTalk may be used by people in different countries. By using the app, you understand that your information may be processed and stored in locations where our service providers or infrastructure operate.
