Under the current Coronavirus crisis that is paralyzing our communities, a team of Chinese American volunteers in DC-Maryland area is fundraising to protect our frontline healthcare professionals (HCPs) from potential transmission risks as posed by COVID19 . The funds raised will be allocated to purchase and deliver medical standard face masks and other protection equipment that our HCPs badly need in the battle against this dire virus. Donations will be made to local hospitals and relevant healthcare facilities directly or via certified NPO.

Students across Montgomery County, Maryland are calling for donations to supply local hospitals and healthcare workers with medical/surgical face masks.
Medical workers are risking their lives on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic. Their contributions are absolutely essential to beating back the virus and we must work together to keep them safe. As the number of hospitalizations increase, many local hospitals will face shortages in protective face masks which will not only endanger the well-being of our beloved doctors and nurses, but also curtail our efforts in winning this battle. To protect yourself, your loved ones, and your entire community, we are asking you to provide a small contribution of $5 so that each and every one of our local healthcare workers has access to the medical-grade masks they need to stop the spread of coronavirus.
We’ve already collected and donated over 5,000 face masks (4,500 surgical and 1,000 N95) to local hospitals and individual medical workers, but we’ve barely scratched the surface of the impact that we can make. We need the entire community involved to truly make a difference.
Even a small donation can make a huge impact. Just a $1 is enough to buy 2 surgical masks, so every donation counts. We need all the help we can get, so feel free to donate as much as you want.

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read this. We are Winston Churchill High School students raising money to buy breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner for the hardworking medical workers employed during these stressful times.
Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, medical staff has been under extreme pressure, working long and exhausting hours. We would like to show our deep appreciation for their hard work by buying quality meals and/or snacks for those working at local hospitals such as Shady Grove Hospital and Medstar Montgomery Medical Center. Food items and such will be bought from trustworthy stores and local restaurants such as Costco or Chipotle.
We ask that you help us to support the medical community as they continue their brave efforts in fighting COVID-19.

Kids Connect is a free online platform that provides students with social activities during the prevalent school closures. Currently, many of our Montgomery County teens actively participate as young tutors. We volunteer to teach a variety of online learning and entertainment activities to help others in this crisis. NYC is now the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic. Hospitals are being pushed to the brink (NBC 3/25 ) and are exhausting key supplies (Fox 3/26 ). Erin and Christine feel very passionate about helping our NYC healthcare providers during this time of crisis. Erin’s sister, Meghan, is a charge nurse working with seriously ill children, including COVID-19 patients. Christine’s daughter, Jane, spent several weeks in the same hospital this summer following a challenging surgery and recovery. We know firsthand how remarkable NYC nurses and doctors are, and our gratitude towards them has compelled us to help in any way possible.
