- A Table of Contents
- A Cover Letter/Reflection Letter – Introduces content in the portfolio as well as a reflection on their growth in invention, revision, evaluation, critical thinking etc. as portrayed in their portfolio.
- Best Drafts
- “Rough” Drafts (include annotations showing proof of implementation of techniques taught in Mini-Lessons along with teacher feedback)
- Goal Setting Sheets
- Student Evaluations (checklists, holistic rubrics, response papers)
- Teacher Evaluations
- Acknowledgement Page – List those who have assisted their writing in any way such as writing partners, friends, parents, librarians, teachers, etc.
