Growing Peaceful

Vermicompost

Also called 'Black Gold', it is one of the best soil amendments for growing vegetables, flowers or fruit.

Vermicompost is homemade by red wiggler worms, from kitchen scraps, recycled cardboard boxes and fall leaves. It adds nutrition as well as wonderful microbes to the soil that promote robust root development and healthy plants.

This gentle organic fertilizer will not hurt your plants in any amount, but a tablespoon a week for each plant will do the trick. Just scratch it around the plant under the surface before watering. This prevents the compost from drying out and keeps the microbes alive.

Grow good soil and your plants will grow themselves!
