Emerging Technologies for Sustainable Water Management

About the Event
3rd to 5th January, 2025
Venue: VMCC, IIT Bombay
DAY 1 : WORKSHOPS
Day 1 of the event will feature 3-4 workshops running in parallel, each hosted by one or more faculty members. The purpose of these workshops is to highlight the research conducted at IIT Bombay and to provide training to external participants. We will arrange lab visits for the external participants to showcase our research infrastructure.
DAY 2 & 3 : SYMPOSIUM
Day 2 and 3 will feature a symposium on sustainable management of water resources. Our main aim is to bring together leading researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers. Our primary goal is to facilitate knowledge exchange and provide networking opportunities. Along with Technical presentations, the symposium will feature Panel discussions on future technologies and industry-academia collaboration.
The event will be organized in OFFLINE mode, though some online lectures from eminent international experts may be included.

About GROW
GROW (Group on Remote Sensing, Ocean, and Water Resources) is based in the Department of Civil Engineering at IIT Bombay. The group was formed to bring together researchers and students from the three specializations together as one family where they can interact more openly to share their knowledge, experiences, and skills. Our main goal is to maximize learning while also increasing academic and industrial outreach activities.
