This policy covers the OutageOtter mobile app and the Grovesto LLC website.
OUTAGEOTTER APP
OutageOtter does not require an account or sign-in. Plans, custom device details, outage records, reminders, and settings are stored on your device. Android automatic backup and device transfer are disabled for the app. The app does not request location or contacts, use advertising features, or send user-entered app content to Grovesto LLC.
OutageOtter schedules local reminders only after you choose to schedule them and grant notification permission. The app does not request a push-notification token. This release includes Expo Notifications and Firebase messaging support components; automatic Firebase messaging registration and Firebase Analytics collection are disabled. Google Play and Android handle app distribution and operating-system notification delivery under their own policies.
If you choose to export or share app data, Android opens its share menu so you can select a destination. Grovesto LLC does not receive that export. Any copy sent to another app or person is handled by that destination.
WEBSITE ANALYTICS
The Grovesto LLC website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand site usage. It measures page views and interactions such as scrolls and outbound link clicks, and may collect traffic source or referrer, browser and device details, and approximate region. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Advertising features are disabled. Google processes analytics data under its own terms and privacy policies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
RETENTION AND YOUR CHOICES
App information remains on your device until you delete it in OutageOtter or uninstall the app. You can delete custom devices, load presets, reminders, and outage records in the app; outage history can also be cleared in Settings. The saved outage plan can be edited or replaced. Copies you export or share are controlled by the destination you choose. Website analytics data is retained according to the Google Analytics property settings and Google's terms.
THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND CHILDREN
Opening an app-store, support, source, or other external link is your choice; the destination's privacy policy applies there. OutageOtter is intended for adults 18 and older and is not designed for children.
