The Armantrout Montessori Education Foundation will be hosting the Grove Monopoly® Game Tournament 11.0 on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the Barton School House in Heritage Park located at 1775 Orange Avenue (between Nevada St & Iowa St) in Redlands, CA 92373. Proceeds from this year’s event will help provide funding for Grove School student college scholarships.
The Armantrout Montessori Education Foudnation has set a goal to raise over $3,000 in donations through sponsorship of this day-long competition. The tournament includes two 90-minute preliminary rounds of the MONOPOLY® game that each participant is required to play, as well as final round of play with the top four competitors plus the previous year’s champion to determine the tournament winner. First round begins promptly at 10am, final round ends at 4pm
This is the 11th Grove MONOPOLY® Tournament. From 2008-2018 this tournament was hosted by The Grove School PTG. In 2009, a film crew film at captured the Grove Monopoly Tournament in the movie called “Under The Boardwalk” (MonopolyDocumentary.com)
