We built the Grove app as a Free app. This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information.
1. Information Collection and Use
Grove does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All family tree information, including names, dates, photos, and notes that you enter into the app, is stored locally on your device.
Family Data: Stored only on your device’s internal storage.
Photos: Accessed only to display them within your family tree.
Permissions: Any permissions requested (such as Storage or Camera) are used strictly for app functionality on your device.
2. Data Storage and Security
Since your data stays on your device, you are responsible for its security. We do not have access to your family trees and cannot recover them if they are deleted or if your device is lost. We recommend using the app’s Export/Backup feature to save your data manually.
3. Third-Party Services
The app does not use third-party services that collect information used to identify you.
4. Children’s Privacy
These services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13, as no data is collected by the app at all.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
