We are pleased to announce a series of workshops at Vanderbilt University devoted to the theme of Groups in Geometry, Analysis and Logic.
The workshops will highlight the central role that group theory plays in mathematics by emphasizing connections to other fields and exploring several exciting recent developments at the intersection of group theory, geometry, dynamical systems, operator algebras, and logic. Our goals are to foster collaboration among researchers in these fields, identify interesting research problems, and provide educational opportunities for graduate students and early-career mathematicians.
The first workshop, focusing on group theory and logic, will take place at Vanderbilt University from May 28 through June 1, 2025
