Overview

Born at the intersection of fluid dynamics and mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering is, simply put, the development of aircraft. The field is responsible for creating a world where a customer can get a package from one side of the world to the other in two days, and then travel across the country in just a few hours.

A subset of chemical engineering and geoengineering, carbon capture is focused on getting excess carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere to help keep our planet cool. Even when carbon emissions start to substantially decrease, carbon capture has the potential to rapidly reverse a century of pollution and warming.
