What is the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development?
A global call to action to end poverty, protect the environment, and ensure that everyone lives in peace and prosperity is the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, often known as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The 17 SDGs and their accompanying 169 targets were adopted by all UN Member states in 2015 and act as a comprehensive road map for a brighter and more sustainable society for all.
