Balsa Wood Bridge

We started by evaluating which bridge we would use between Group 6 and Group 8

Using ModelSmart3D, it was determined that Group 8's bridge design would theoretically support more weight

We began with building the base of the bridge which was 2 long pieces we topped with small perpendicular pieces along them to connect

On top of the perpendicular pieces we placed two more long pieces that had cut-outs for the later placed support beams

We then placed the supports and glued them together making a continuous V formation

After this, we connected the arch, the top frame of the bridge, to the V's

Finally we added the legs to the bottom of the bridge and added extra supporting sticks for final touches
