SYSTEM ANALYST

• - Key skills required: Communication, presentation, facilitation, project management and problem solving.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

• Also known as: Helpdesk support, operations analyst, problem manager.

• Many technical support specialists work for hardware manufacturers and suppliers solving the problems of business customers or consumers, but many works for end-user companies supporting, monitoring and maintaining workplace technology and responding to users' requests for help.

• Key skills required: Wide ranging tech knowledge, problem solving, communication/listening, patience and diplomacy.

• - Salary ranges from ₱21,000 to ₱31,000.

NETWORK ENGINEER

• Also known as: Hardware engineer, network designer

• Network engineering is one of the more technically demanding IT jobs. Broadly speaking the role involves setting up, administering, maintaining and upgrading communication systems, local area networks and wide area networks for an organization. 

• A telecoms or computer science-related degree is needed.

• Key skills include: Specialist network knowledge, communication, planning, analysis and problem solving.

• Salary ranges from ₱43,000 to ₱53,000. 

TECHNICAL CONSULTANT

• Also known as: IT consultant, application specialist, enterprise-wide information specialist.

• Technical Consultant involves analyzing client needs, designing and proposing tailored IT solutions, collaborating on project planning and implementation, providing technical training and support, contributing to code development if applicable, staying updated on industry trends, and ensuring ongoing client satisfaction through effective communication and feedback management.

• While a technical degree is preferred, it's not always mandatory.

• Key skills: Communication, presentation, technical and business understanding, project management, and teamwork.

• Technical Consultant Usually earns ₱75,000 to ₱85,000 Monthly 

TECHNICAL SALES

• Also known as: Sales manager, account manager, sales executive.

• technical sales professional involves understanding client requirements, promoting and selling hardware or IT solutions by articulating their business benefits, engaging in client interactions, by and maintaining a thorough technical understanding of the products being sold.

• While a technology degree isn't strictly necessary, a solid technical understanding of the product being sold is crucial.

• Key skills: Product knowledge, persuasion, interpersonal skills, drive, mobility, and business awareness.

• Technical sales usually earns ₱70,000 to ₱80,000 a month 

PROJECT MANAGER

• Also known as: Product planner, project leader, master scheduler.

• Project managers coordinate people, time, and resources to ensure that IT projects meet specified requirements, staying on schedule and within budget. They might oversee an entire project or manage a segment of a larger program. 

• This role isn't entry-level;  IT project managers need experience and a strong foundation in technology and soft skills to collaborate with tech development teams and higher-level business managers.

• Key skills: Organization, problem-solving, communication, clear thinking, and the ability to stay composed under pressure.

• Project Manager/ I.T Project Manager usually earns ₱101,000 to ₱111,000 a month.

WEB DEVELOPER

•  Also known as: Web designer, web producer, multimedia architect, internet engineer.

• The role of a web developer is mainly on the technical programming and creative design of user interfaces for websites, involvement in both client-side and server-side web technologies, collaboration with l teams, and promotes analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to construct and maintain websites, remaining at the forefront of industry trends and working in organizations of varying sizes.

• Key skills: Basic understanding of web technologies (client-side, server-side, and databases), analytical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity.

• A base web developer usually earns ₱33,000 to ₱43,000.

• Front End Web Developer usually earns ₱60,000 to ₱70,000 a month.

• Full stack developer usually earns ₱70,000 to ₱80,000 a month

SOFTWARE TESTER

•  Also known as: Test analyst, software quality assurance tester.
