Avatar's opinions of the Day in Kyoto
Today was a really fun and interesting day. I loved the warabimochi I had for lunch. The main activity we went to was a taiko drumming class, where the teacher spoke in English. I thought it was difficult at first, but thanks to the careful teaching of the basics, I was able to enjoy the class.
The second best experience was going to Kiyomizu Temple. The three-story pagoda, the largest in Japan, was very impressive and worth seeing. The lights at night were beautiful and I felt enchanted.
Day2 We got up around 8 am. We ate really good buffet at the hotel.
After that ,we were prepare for a Taiko trial lesson ,so we left hotel at 10am. We arrived at the place name is TAIKO-LAB at 10.45 am. Btw We really enjoyed to do Taiko , because It was the first time for me and I am interested in any instruments . And a instructor spoke English well , so we understood how to play it.
We went to Kiyomizu-temple to eat lunch. Firstly, We went to restaurant , it name is Umezono . We ate Dango ( kind of Mochi) and the other sweets!
After lunch, we went to Kiyomizu- temple. The temple was really beautiful and We saw lovely scenery from there.
We had a enough time to go anywhere so we went to Arashiyama . Its really far from Kiyomizu to Arashiyama by bus or train, so we went there by taxi for 30min.
We had a really good time in Arashiyama, we ate sushi at Naritaya . These sushi were really tasty but I especially liked tuna sushi ! I had never eaten it before .
Finally , we went back to hotel at 21.30pm, It made us exhausted ,so I slept well haha.
Today has been a very productive day. I experienced taiko for the first time in my life. My teacher taught me carefully and I was able to perform well. It was a very valuable experience.
Also, the rice was very delicious. I ate warabimochi for lunch. It tasted very sweet and elegant. And in the evening we ate sushi. I love sushi so I was very satisfied.
