THE REVISED LESSON PLAN
MICRO-TEACHING
Preparation
Although the preparation time was quite limited, we had been working diligently to ensure that the Practicum experience was as good as possible. We began by contacting the lecturer from Foreign Trade University (FTU) to ask for teaching materials and her instructions. Following this, several online meetings were organized for us to discuss and design the lesson plan together. However, during the preparation process, we encountered some challenges, such as the content of the lessons being too extensive to cover within the three class sessions and difficulty finding appropriate audio and video resources due to copyright restrictions of the textbook. As a result, we sent a second email to Ms. Đoàn Hồng Nhung, the lecturer for the demo teaching class, to discuss these issues further and to confirm the additional resources we had found based on the information she had provided earlier. After receiving her support, we revised the lesson plan and submitted it to our supervisors, Ms. Trần Thị Minh Phượng and Ms. Đoàn Hồng Nhung, for feedback. Based on their feedback, we revised our lesson plan with more practice activities and designed slides thoroughly before the trip.
