Group 3 is one of eight groups that are part of the Essex County Bowling Association (EBCA). Group 3 consists of 19 lawn bowls clubs which are Bantham and Ongar; Billericay; Boreham; Burnham Hillside; Chancellor Park Methodist; Chelmsford; Danbury; Falcon; Great Baddow; Ingatestone; Lionmede; Maldon; Princess Marie Louise; R.H.P.; Southminster; South Woodham Ferrers;  Stock & Buttsbury; Tillingham;  and Writtle B.C.
