I think what this means is that story tellers are the ones who make original contents and they make successful multimedia narratives because they acknowledge the new trends which is a big contribution. This may also reflect on us when we make our outputs as there are many trends about multimedia out there that we can hop into to make a pleasant output. Multimedia has multiple trends for us to hop and this is a big contribution contribution to make an original content. This also symbolizes us as students when we are making our outputs since those outputs are made by us which means we have to make an original content for the output and that makes us design those basing on what is trending. As students, we are always given the task to make performance tasks and that sometimes requires making your own designs and this helps us on making our output designs. Like story tellers, trends actually take a huge part when we are making our tasks and we sometimes don't even notice it.
