Written Work # 1: Dangers of Oversharing on the Internet
The rules that has been violated are:
- Remember the golden rule
- Think about the reader
- Post smart
The post is all about saying bad words to his Ex. I am too disappointed of what he does. The internet user did not post smart because he did not think wise before posting his emotions to an individual.
Retaining the golden rule; which is: "Do not do to others what you do not want them to do to you" is very crucial to the internet users ; because it may help us to think more before posting something. In this case, we should not post bad words on the internet especially when we are pointing someone. If we don't want others saying bad words on us, then we should not say bad words on them.
Putting our shoe to the shoe of others is one way to know the reactions of the readers. Here it comes the next violated rule; which is " think about the reader". Saying bad words on the internet might influence the readers. So, if we think that there's a possibility of having bad comments and reactions from others, then we should not continue to post it.
Post smart. In this case, the internet user did not post smart because he immediately post his emotions in a bad way which is saying bad words. As for me, we internet users should think wisely or think hundred times before posting something.

The rule that has been violated is "Quit Complaining".
Stop complaining and judging to them because you don't know the full story and you don't have any proof to judge them.

The post is all about saying bad words. I'm shocked when I saw this post. My opinion with this post is that we don't have to post something like that because many innocent internet users can read that.

REFLECTION
Empowerment Technologies is a subject which greatly helps us to have more knowledge about technology and its other forms. Nowadays, it's obvious that our generation is more improved in terms of technology. I know that as time goes by, it would be more dominant and powerful than today's generation.
In our Etech subject, I’ve learned something that may help and may be useful for different purposes. I’ve learned that using internet tools just like computers, laptops or mobile phones will help us to process information very rapidly. It could process words, pictures, sounds and numbers in a short time only. Social media is one of the forms of internet. It is used for different purposes. It may be used for education, business or just for entertainment purpose. Social media enable us to be connected with one another. To use or to access to the social media, we need an internet connection. I’ve learned how to be a smart internet users and how to use the internet effectively. I’ve learned the 10 rules using the internet. Through the help of these rules I can be able to to post wisely and effectively. Also it will help to come up with a good outcome with your post. I can apply these rules especially I am a social media user. I’ve learned the six types of social media: social networking, bookmarking, media sharing, social news, micro blogging and blogs and forums. I can easily identify their similarities and differences.This will be a useful tool for me in terms of my educational purposes. Also, as an ABM student and a future business worker, I can apply the knowledge that I got using a mail merge in business letters.I also learned on how to create a digital portfolio that will help compiling my important documents.

REFLECTION
For this subject, I've learned many things. The very first thing that I've learned is all about the 10 rules on how to be a wise internet user. I've learned here how to be an effective user just like; smart posting. I could apply the rules whenever I had something to post on internet. Also, I've learned the different kinds of webs: the web 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0. The next thing that I've learned is the " Social media and its functions and types". I could apply these lessons for my educational purposes, where I can get information related to our lessons and topics. Also, I will be aware on what specific type of social media I am and will be using.
As an ABM student, I can apply the lessons and information about mail merge in creating a business letter when I already become a business worker. Also as a student, when searching some of our assignments, I could make use of my knowledge about using google search.
