Hand Washing Science Experiment with Ms. Yolanta

Washing hands is one of the most important measures for preventing the spread of diseases. Lathering the hands with soap and rinsing them with running water is a simple method of removing germs before they spread.

Parents, please watch the video ahead of time and recreate the experiment with your child at home as a hands on activity.

You will find this fun interactive video under videos and there is a subtitle called Play lists. This is where you will find the video. Have fun!

HAND WASHING SONG

You can sing this song with your kids while they are washing their hands. It is sung to the tune of the song "Row, row, row your boat". I taught them this song the first week I was with them so they might remember.

Wash, wash, wash your hands,

Many times a day

In between and all around,

chase those germs away. (and then they rinse the soap from their hands).
