This Privacy Policy explains how Ground Taggering (“the App”) collects, uses, and protects user data when played on Meta Quest / Meta Horizon platforms. The App is intended for a general audience and complies with Meta App Lab, Data Use Checkup (DUC), and IARC requirements.
Because Ground Taggering uses Meta Platform Features, the App does collect and process the following user data:
User ID (USER_ID)
A unique identifier provided by Meta to distinguish players during gameplay and multiplayer sessions.
User Profile Information (USER_PROFILE)
This may include a user’s display name and avatar information as provided by Meta, used to represent players in-game.
User Age Group (USER_AGE)
Used only to ensure age-appropriate access and compliance with Meta platform requirements.
The App does not collect real names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise real-world location data, photos, or payment information.
Collected data is used only to:
Enable online multiplayer gameplay
Allow players to interact in shared virtual environments
Display player identities (name/avatar) in-game
Ensure age-appropriate access and platform safety
Maintain core game functionality
We do not use user data for advertising, marketing, tracking, or data resale.
The App uses third-party services solely to support gameplay functionality:
Photon – Provides real-time multiplayer connectivity and shared lobbies
PlayFab – Stores gameplay-related data such as cosmetic unlocks, in-game currency, and progress
These services only process data necessary for gameplay and do not use it for advertising or unrelated purposes.
Ground Taggering does not collect or store real-world GPS location data. Any references to “location” relate only to technical data required for online connectivity and multiplayer functionality.
User data is retained only for as long as necessary to support gameplay features and platform compliance.
All users have the right to request deletion of their data, regardless of geographic location.

Upon receiving a request, we will delete all associated user data within a reasonable timeframe unless retention is required for legal or platform compliance.
Ground Taggering follows Meta’s age requirements and does not knowingly collect personal data beyond what is provided through Meta platform features.
We take reasonable measures to protect collected data and ensure it is used only for intended gameplay purposes.
