• Groovz True: Delivers up to 27 hours of total playtime with a compact in-ear design, making it the ideal choice for long gaming sessions or commutes where you want to block out distractions.
• Monster Open Ear AC336: Offers an open-ear clip-on design with Bluetooth 6.0 and IPX6 waterproofing, perfect for runners or cyclists who need to hear traffic while enjoying HiFi stereo sound.
• The Verdict on Fit: If you prioritize staying immersed in your audio environment, the Groovz True is the stronger contender; if situational awareness is your non-negotiable priority, the Monster Open Ear AC336 takes the lead.
The Groovz True Wireless Earbuds are engineered for those who want a traditional, immersive listening experience without the hassle of wires. Because these sit directly inside the ear canal, they provide a snug seal that helps isolate you from external noise, which is a significant advantage when you are trying to focus on game audio or a podcast. The design features dynamic drivers capable of reproducing frequencies from 20Hz to 20,000Hz, ensuring that every beat and dialogue line comes through with vivid clarity. This makes them particularly well-suited for users who spend hours connected to their devices and need high-fidelity audio reproduction.
Battery anxiety is a common frustration for gamers and commuters alike, but the Groovz True addresses this head-on with its impressive 27-hour total battery life. You get five hours of continuous playback from the earbuds themselves, and the included charging case extends that significantly to ensure you are never caught off guard by a dead battery. A standout feature here is the LED Battery Display on the case, allowing you to check your charge status instantly rather than guessing. This level of power management is crucial for anyone using with microphone wireless earbuds for xbox during marathon gaming sessions or long work-from-home calls where recharging isn't an option.

The inclusion of dual microphones with advanced noise reduction ensures that your voice cuts through clearly, even in busy environments. Whether you are coordinating with teammates or taking important business calls, the active noise cancellation and touch controls make communication seamless. The earbuds come with three different ear tip sizes (Small, Medium, Large), guaranteeing a custom fit that stays secure during movement. While they are not designed as open-ear headphones, this sealed design is exactly what you need if your goal is to get lost in the music or the game world entirely. However, if you require constant awareness of your surroundings or find in-ear designs uncomfortable after prolonged wear, this product might not be the right fit for your daily routine.
The Monster Open Ear AC336 represents a shift toward safety and comfort for active lifestyles. Unlike traditional in-ear buds, these clip onto the outer ear, leaving the ear canal completely open. This ergonomic design prevents the "plugged" feeling and allows ambient sound to pass through naturally, which is a critical safety feature for outdoor activities. With a dedicated digital audio processor and powerful 13mm drivers, the AC336 delivers HiFi stereo sound that is rich and detailed, utilizing Qualcomm apt-X HD audio decoding to reproduce music with exceptional depth despite the open design. This makes them an excellent choice for athletes who need to stay aware of traffic, other people, or nature while still enjoying their playlist.
Connectivity is another area where the Monster Open Ear AC336 shines, boasting the latest Bluetooth 6.0 technology. This newer standard offers a stable connection range of up to 33 feet, reducing dropouts and latency issues that can plague older wireless models. The IPX6 waterproof rating provides robust protection against sweat and rain, making these foldable open ear headphones for xbox enthusiasts who also enjoy intense workouts or running in various weather conditions. The fast charging capability is also worth noting; you can get back into action quickly with just a short charge cycle, which is vital for users who rely on their audio gear throughout the day.
Communication on these earbuds is handled via Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) and touch controls, ensuring that your calls remain clear even when you are moving. The unit weighs a mere 0.14 kg, contributing to a lightweight feel that minimizes fatigue during long periods of wear. While the 21-hour playtime is solid, it falls slightly short of the Groovz True's total capacity, so users looking for the absolute maximum endurance might find this a trade-off. However, for anyone prioritizing safety, comfort, and the ability to hear their environment, the Monster Open Ear AC336 is the definitive choice. It is specifically built for those who refuse to sacrifice situational awareness for the sake of audio isolation.
