Please note the name of your dancer’s class below so you know what to look for on recital schedules going forward.
WE NEED HELPERS IN THE TINY DANCER ROOM FOR DRESS REHEARSAL AND BOTH SHOWS!!

🩰Tech Rehearsal: Monday, May 11th, at the HHS Performing Arts Center (Use South PAC entrance)
This is just a short stage practice to mark spots, check lights, etc. Each group has 10 minutes on stage and once they are done, they are free to leave. NO COSTUME/HAIR/Makeup needed, just dance shoes. We will show you where the Tiny Dancer Dressing Room is located and also, where the Backstage Door Entrance is. NORMAL CLASSES AT THE STUDIO WILL STILL TAKE PLACE THIS WEEK EXCEPT FOR THE MONDAY CLASS…they are welcome to come to the Thursday 5pm class instead this week if they would like to, but not required.
*Tiny Treasures (Monday 445pm class): Arrive at 350pm, stage time 4-410pm
*Tiny Sparks (Thursday 4pm class): Arrive 4pm, stage time 410-420pm
*Tiny Stars (Thursday 5pm class): Arrive 410pm, stage time 420-430pm
*Tiny Tappers (Tuesday 310pm class): Arrive 420pm, stage time 430-440pm
🩰Dress Rehearsal: 420-515pm on Tuesday, May 19th at the high school (At least wear costume and shoes…hair and makeup are optional for tiny dancer groups during dress rehearsal). One parent is allowed to sit in the auditorium and watch. Upon arrival at time listed below, dancers should be dropped off at the backstage door with the check-in person (likely Christy). Please be prompt, but don’t show up any earlier than arrival time listed…we will not be ready for your dancer if so, and lots of kids running around in the hallway while we are trying to prep for you all will not help things go smoothly. Once we have your dancer, you can take a seat in the auditorium and hopefully watch the chaotic magic of rehearsals unfold. LOL! Once they are dismissed from stage, they are free to go home and we will see them at the show.

🧡Due to a lack of dressing room space (although we do have a classroom set aside just for your dancers if needed) & also the number of tiny dancers we have in the show this year (approx 40), we would like to offer (and encourage) all of you the option of keeping your dancer with you during the show until we need them backstage. (We would be extremely grateful, and your little ones will be happier watching the show than being in the dressing rooms). Because it's reserved seating, they will have to sit on a lap (but at least they're little :-) ) If you are not planning on attending shows, and are not volunteering in a dressing room, (or it’s just not feasible to have them sit with you) we will be happy to still have your dancer back with us, but please let Christy (406-240-0977) know so she can plan for how many we will be watching during the shows. ⬇️DROP-OFF/PICK-UP FOR NIGHTS OF SHOW⬇️
**TINY TREASURES (Mon 445pm Class) & TINY STARS (Thurs 5pm Class) (Song Title: “Never Grow Up”)
These classes are at the beginning of the show, so you will need to drop your dancer off between 530-540pm on their assigned performance day, in the first classroom to the left as you enter the south “Performing Arts Center” doors. Dancers should be COMPLETELY dressed in their costumes with hair and makeup complete when they arrive, shoes in hand. They should only need to put their dance shoes on when you drop them off with us. Once you drop them off, please take all their belongings with you and take your seat in the auditorium and watch the show. If you are choosing for them to sit with you after they perform for the remainder of the show (until curtain call at the end), you will need to get them from their dressing room anytime BEFORE INTERMISSION (We want to get these two classes checked out before the other class checks in during intermission. You will need to check them out with the dressing room attendant at the door…this is MANDATORY for the safety of our dancers. They can sit with you during the second half of the show until AFTER L.O.V.E. (the Adult Senior Tap Group towards the end of the show). At that time, bring your dancer to the hallway through the auditorium entrance. There will be a team of people waiting there to grab them from you, so you can immediately return your seats. We will line them up for curtain call and once that is over, the curtain will close at the end of the show. Once we have talked to all of the dancers and given them instructions, we will bring the tiny dancers through the center of the curtains to the front of the stage, which is where you will pick them up from us. (NOT IN THE HALLWAY OR IN THEIR DRESSING ROOM…IF YOU GO TO THEIR DRESSING ROOM, THEY WILL NOT BE THERE.) If an instructor does not recognize you as their parent, you will be asked to provide a password upon taking the child. (This password will be sent to you in a private text the day of show). Once you have your dancer, you can make your way with them to the dressing room to collect their things (Pro Tip: If you keep all of their stuff with you under your seat, you will be able to skip this step).
**TINY SPARKS (Thurs 4pm Class) & TINY TAPPERS (Tues 4pm Class) (Song Title: “Little Sweeties”)
These classes are in the last half of the show, so you can show up anytime after 530pm on their assigned performance day and bring your dancer into the auditorium with you to take your seat. (No need to check them in at this point, unless you do not want your dancer sitting with you during the first half and need them to be with us in the dressing room.) Dancers should be COMPLETELY dressed in costume, with hair and makeup complete when you arrive to the high school and/or when you check them into the dressing room. IF THEY ARE SITTING WITH YOU FOR THE FIRST HALF, PLEASE BRING THEM TO THE DRESSING ROOM TOWARDS THE LAST FEW MINUTES OF INTERMISSION. (This will give us time to check the other two tiny dancer classes out of the dressing room before checking in this class, but PLEASE MAKE SURE THEY DO NOT BRING A MESSY TREAT FROM CONCESSIONS INTO THE DRESSING ROOM WITH THEM). You will need to check them in with the dressing room attendant at the door…this is MANDATORY for the safety of our dancers. They will remain with us for the entire second half of the show. After Curtain Call, the curtain will close at the end of the show. Once we have talked to all of the dancers and given them instructions, we will bring the tiny dancers through the center of the curtains to the front of the stage, which is where you will pick them up from us. (IF YOU GO TO THEIR DRESSING ROOM OR THE HALLWAY, THEY WILL NOT BE THERE.) If an instructor does not recognize you as their parent, you will be asked to provide a password upon taking the child. (This password will be sent to you in a private text the day of the show). Once you have your dancer, you can make your way with them to the dressing room to collect their things (Pro Tip: If you keep all of their stuff with you under your seat, you will be able to skip this step).
🧡Some of you may choose to NOT stay for the entire show, and that is your choice, but we would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have as many of them as possible to stay and join us in the Curtain Call/Finale at the very end, still dressed in their costume. (Most of the little ones stay pretty intrigued during the entire show, and the audience ADORES it!) The show will run approx 2 hours, 30 minutes (which includes a 15 minute intermission).
NOTE: If you are volunteering backstage during a show, your dancer is welcome to stay in the tiny dancer dressing room during the entire show…just communicate that with Christy so we can plan.
NOTE: PLEASE BE KIND, COURTEOUS AND GRATEFUL TO OUR VOLUNTEERS!! YOUR CHILD WOULD NOT HAVE OPPORTUNITES LIKE THIS WITHOUT THEM AND WE ARE ALL DOING THE BEST WE CAN IN ANY GIVEN MOMENT! THEY ARE NOT TRAINED EMPLOYEES…THEY ARE JUMPING IN WHERE THEY CAN!
