The Oakland County Democratic Party has printed some postcards and asked our club to send them to voters with personal messages of support for Oakland County Commissioner Penny Leubs.
Penny is the former mayor of Clawson and represents Clawson and part of Royal Oak on the Oakland County Commission. Penny is a crucial part of the 1-seat Democratic majority on the commission. She's also a sincere, compassionate, and highly-competent public official, widely-liked and widely-respected. We need more people like Penny in office, and we have to keep Penny on the commission. To get some postcards please contact Tom Regan at (248) 291-905 or tregan3@hotmail.com

The Michigan Supreme Court is the highest court in the State of Michigan. It is comprised of 7 justices. Judicial races in Michigan are non-partisan. Justices on the Supreme Court serve 8-year terms and are elected in the November even-year general elections. With recent life-altering decisions made by the US Supreme Court, citizens are hopefully seeing what a great influence courts play on our lives and how important it is to elect judges that reflect our values and priorities.
Safer and fair working conditions, equity in education, protecting our natural resources, and ensuring the law is applied fairly to all people of Michigan are the hallmarks of Elizabeth’s vast and respected career.
