There are two ways to create a list:
With a picture! Click the camera icon and choose a photo or take a photo of your list
GrocerySnap will automatically parse the image into a checklist for you to use while shopping!
To add items to the list manually click the plus icon and type in the text and hit Enter
To clear the list, click the trash can icon.
To keep your phone from sleeping/locking while you shop, open the settings by clicking the gear icon, then enable "Keep Screen On"

Is the standard list extraction from images not doing a great job reading your writing? Are the items in your list unrecognizable? If you have an OpenAI API key or a Google Gemini API Key the app can use that!
Once you have an API Key for either OpenAI or Gemini, follow the steps below:
Open settings by clicking the gear icon
Click Extraction Type and choose OpenAI or Google AI
Enter your API Key where prompted and click Done to save.
Try your photo again and see how well it works!
To keep the phone on while GrocerySnap is open you can do the following:
Open Settings by clicking the gear icon.
Turn on "Keep Screen On"
Click "Done"
You should see a small white circle next to the title "GrocerySnap" at the top.
Once you close GrocerySnap or switch to another app, your phone will go back to its normal sleep behavior. This setting only keeps it awake when GrocerySnap is open.
