Grocery Grab

Our Vision

A community where senior citizens and other at-risk groups live a life without the stress of going to a grocery store and fear of being exposed to COVID-19.

Our Mission

To engage local high school students to serve senior citizens and other at-risk groups in the community by providing them with the groceries and services they need to live and prosper.

About Us

Grocery Grab is a program that aims to help the senior citizens and other at-risk groups (immunocompromised, disabled, etc.) in need during and beyond the COVID-19 pandemic. Engaging high school students looking to help, our goal is to give back to the community by aiding these citizens with the task of buying and delivering groceries in order to keep them safe. We feel that it is important to establish supportive relationships amongst the youth and the elderly in order to build a strong community overall. Today, we have delivered over 7,000 grocery items totaling over $16,000 in groceries to various senior citizens in the city of Carlsbad and nearby cities.

What We Do

Grocery Grab is a free grocery shopping service for senior citizens and other at-risk groups. With the COVID-19 pandemic, citizens who are over 60 or at-risk are encouraged to stay indoors. Let us help run errands for you! Our team, made up of high school students in the community, will shop for and deliver the groceries to your doorstep. For next steps please visit our "Instructions" tab for more information. Feel free to reach out through our email CarlsbadGroceryGrab@gmail.com or call/text us at (760) 880 7077.
