True Triaxial Cell

4 electromechanical actuators with a static capacity of 100 kN and 4 submersible 100 kN load transducers with a precision of 0.1%.
4 high-resolution displacement transducers (LVDTs) ±25 mm (total 50 mm) displacement with an accuracy of 0.1%.
Front window not less than 20 cm×10 cm to allow observation during the compressional tests.
2 syringe pumps are connected to the device that can apply cell pressure and pore pressure.

Instron Loading Frame

600 DX B15929.
Capacity of 600 kN (135,000 lbf), with a load measurement accuracy of ±0.5%.
Maximum test speed is 80 mm/min.

Hoek Cell

GDS Instrumented Hoek Cell.
Capacities up to 70 MPa cell pressure and maximum loads up to 2,000 kN.
Temperature of the Hoek cell could be controlled from ambient to +100°C.
Strain gauges and displacement transducers are installed in the cell to measure the radial and vertical deformation of the sample, respectively.
Acoustic velocity system is installed in the Hoek cell to measure vertical and horizontal P, S1, and S2 waves.

ISCO Pumps

Available that can be connected to the Hoek cell for applying confining pressure and pore pressure.
2 ISCO 500D Syringe Pumps with a capacity of flow rates up to 200 mL/min at pressures up to 3,750 psi.
1 ISCO Pump with a capacity of flow rates up to 107 mL/min at pressures up to 9,500 psi.

Mark-10 Load Cell

Speed range is 0.02 mm/min – 2,300 mm/min with an accuracy of ±0.2% of setting
