We are excited to kick off our 4th year of Cool Reads at GRES and GRIS. Cool Reads is our summer reading program designed to get books to our students all summer long. This year, we are partnering with local businesses and organizations to bring some exciting events to our Cool Reads program.
Any elementary or intermediate aged student (pk-5) is welcome to participate. Students will pick out a free book at the end of each event.
Tuesday, June 6, Barnard’s Mill, 9am-12pm, Texas Ranger exhibit and art activity
Thursday, July 13, 9am-12pm, Fossil Rim Overlook and Children's Petting Zoo, snack and hourly tours of the animal pastures.
Thursday, August 3, Dinosaur Valley RV Park, 10:00-12:00 Elementary Swim, 12:00-2:00 Intermediate Swim (If you have students at both campuses, pick one time slot to come and swim.)
